have completed grades 6-12

Spiritual Development
Bible Study
This class will study select areas of the Bible and
is designed to inspire students to continue the study of scripture throughout
their lives. Class participation and daily outside reading are required.
Students need their own Bible.
Planning for Worship
This course is designed to teach students how to plan
and implement an exciting worship service. All aspects of the liturgy will be
examined from the ride to church, to the postlude, and everything in-between.
The class will also help plan our daily worship services as well as the closing
festival service.
Sharing Your Faith
In this class, students will learn how to express
what they believe, how to answer questions about their faith, and how to feel
comfortable sharing their faith with others.
The Power of Prayer
This course will cover things such as what prayer is,
why it is important, what prayer consists of, ways to pray, ways not to pray,
and the power of prayer.
How to Give a Talk (or sermon)
This course will cover the tools pastors and teachers
use to create an effective atmosphere for their learners to receive
information. Topics such as effective communication through sermons, youth
meetings, and Bible studies will be included.
How to Live for God
What is the Kingdom of God? Why was Jesus main
message the re-establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth? What does it mean
to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God? This course will answer all of these
questions as well as revolutionize the way you think as a child of the
King. |
